Charlie was born in the laboratory as a result of genetic experiments, to a human father and a chimpanzee mother; he is a “humanzee”. A unique specimen, Charlie is collected and raised in the family by a couple formed by a scientist specializing in primates and a lawyer. 15 years later, Charlie the humanzee joins high school and meets a young girl named Lucy. However, Charlie's arrival in the human community will create a shock wave. Very quickly, the implications of its existence shook American society and, beyond that, raised questions on a global level...
