TPM Hobby et Collection started in 1986 and opened its doors in 1990 at Fleur de Lys, the shopping centre right next to the Videotron Centre in Québec City. After several years with outlets at Galeries de la Capitale in Québec City, La Pyramide in Sainte-Foy and Mégacentre Rive-Sud in Lévis, former owner Jean-Pierre Samson chose a single store to bring his incredible inventory together in one place.

In January 2024, Martin Desbiens bought the business from Mr. Samson, apart from the philately, which he kept.

At TPM, two worlds go hand in hand: hobby and collections. On the hobby side, a great selection of board games, puzzles and trading card games like Magic and Pokémon. On the collection side, a huge choice of stamps, coins, sports and non-sports cards, figurines, military items from both wars, American comics and so much more.
