Tension is at its peak as the fight to the death between Taiga and the warrior of the homo-sapiens tribe rages. This confrontation ends with a victory for Taïga which spares its opponent. The victory and our protagonist's act of clemency reconcile the two groups and initiate their good understanding. The scientists have a lot to learn from the tribe, and decide to live alongside them. However, the threat of Neanderthals still looms over their heads and the fight for their survival continues...
