Shortly after the mysterious death of the king, his brother Claudius hastily marries Queen Gertrude. The deceased's son, Prince Hamlet, is devastated by this latest news. At nightfall, the ghost of the deceased king haunts the ramparts of Elsinore Castle and appears before the prince's eyes. The specter then announces a terrible truth to him: he was murdered, poisoned by his own brother, in order to steal his place on the throne. From then on, Hamlet is carried away by an irreversible thirst for revenge and lives only to bring justice to his father by feigning madness, no matter if others must lose their lives.
