Dilophosaurus

A carnivorous theropod dinosaur from the beginning of the Jurassic period (around 200 million years ago), the Dilophosaurus could measure up to 6 meters long and must have weighed around 500 kg. Joints allowed it to fold the two bony crests of its skull which make it unique, and gave it its name (2-crested lizard in Greek).
