Battlestar Viper Mark 1

This Viper Mark I is the first model in the Colonial Viper line of space fighters and was also known as the Starhound Class Viper. These small, agile, single-pilot craft were designed for atmospheric and space flight and were stationed on Colonial Battlestars, each of which contained a squadron of 75 personnel. It was introduced into military service shortly before the First Cylon War as a defensive counterattack against the Cylon fleet.
