Created to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, the reverse design of this 2023 $2 commemorative circulation coin features the works of three artists: Megan Currie of English River First Nation, Myrna Pokiak (Agnaviak) of the region designated from the Inuvialuit and Jennine Krauchi from the Red River Métis community. Their collective creation combines in a breathtaking way their expressions of art, cultural diversity and traditions of the Métis, Inuit and First Nations, an invitation to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
